About the formulas and why we create fomulas. - and-just-math

We are not mathematicians, but we love mathematics and create formulas ourselves.

In fact, we only write them down. We construct records of dependencies that exist. We have no ambition to prove them, because that's what mathematicians do. And we think that for specialists these designs are trivial. But we check their correctness. For example in Excel.

We are looking for dependencies and ways to record them. We also have a lot of satisfaction. We want to encourage other people who like to observe and search. Maybe some ‘discovered’ relationship will turn out to be a ‘diamond’ and help us understand more about the world around us.

We decided to present a new formula from the set we save each day. This mode of presentation, one day - one pattern, one week - 7 formulas, can in our opinion arouse more interest in formulas and lead to the desire to deepen knowledge.

Our designs are derived from calculus. Fr. Professor dr hab. Michał Heller says that calculations is the ‘body’ of mathematics, but the art is somewhere else. It is true, but we have admiration for mathematics, we humbly ‘love’ mathematics and as non-mathematicians we express our admiration as we can, that is ‘we construct’ formulas, not assertions and evidence. Therefore, most often we write formulas for the sums of series. Typically, it's easier to verify their correctness. Maybe they are already known and published, but we have derived them ourselves and we only present them.

A mathematical formula is not a formula in rhetoric.
A mathematical formula is not a cultural formula.
A mathematical formula is not an industrial formula.
A mathematical formula is not a utility model.

A mathematical formula is a mathematical formula.
A mathematical formula is an expression.
A mathematical formula is an algorithm.
A mathematical formula is an expression (algebraic or arithmetic, rational or irrational).

Algebraic expression, customary mathematical formula - syntactically a mathematical expression, consisting of one or more algebraic symbols (i.e. constants or variables), connected by signs of actions (+, -, ⋅,:, power and root) and possibly parentheses, according to the rules mathematical notation.
Semantically, an algebraic expression, as a well-built expression in the algebra language, is a record of a certain algorithm consisting of elementary operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and exponentiation (the square root is reduced to exponentiation).

Ladies and Gentlemen, today we have noticed that we had published the same formula twice but written differently (D134, D144), for which we apologize. Unfortunately, it may happen again. This is because, the same formula can be constructed in various ways, when starting from different assumptions. Furthermore, two identical formulas may be difficult to spot at the first sight when they are written differently. In the case we publish the same formula twice, we will try to give a single version of the resulting formula. This time we have overlooked the previous formula. To stand up to our promise (365 formulas per year) we will post an additional package at the end of the year with new formulas.
